Services We Offer

The aim of New Hope School of Nursing is to address a recognized need in South Africa where there are only a few accredited training centres, which provide practical skills and knowledge in the nursing field. The focusing is on developing the student to be able to demonstrate ability to conduct him/herself professionally in various positions in the nursing corps. In addition, we aim to assist the greater public of South Africa in development of skills, knowledge and attitudes to provide education incentives and nursing opportunities in the economy. The Enrolled Auxiliary Nursing Course duration is one academic year and full time of study. To gain entry to both of the programmes the aspiring learner has to be in possession of a valid school certificate, Grade 10 or Standard 8 or equivalent. Applicants writes an Aptitude test and then upon succession thereof are recalled and invited for an interview before admission is granted to the courses. Theory is presented at the school and practical are done at accredited hospitals, ie. Groote Schuur Hospital, Victoria Hospital and Red Cross Hospital The need for the programmes or courses: Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary and Enrolled Nurse was ascertained via the employment sections of newspapers, internet job searches and network contact at agencies The Enrolled Nurse Course duration is two academic years and requires full time study.
